🧪 From Congress to the Court: Should Travel Basketball Coaches Be Randomly Drug Tested?

In a recent headline-grabbing move, Louisiana Congressman Clay Higgins proposed random drug testing for members of Congress, saying it’s only fair that lawmakers be held to the same standards as many American workers. That sparked a different kind of conversation in the Group Chat Podcast studio… and y’all already know where this went.
“Travel basketball coaches should be drugged screened, clean out the rif raf” said one host, mid-rant.
Inspired by Higgins’ proposal, the guys argued that some travel basketball coaches might need to pee in a cup too — why not clean up the game and make it a safe environment for the kids. Make sure games are not being coached by crackheads.
From jean shorts and flip-flops on the sideline to clipboard-shattering timeouts, the Group Chat crew agrees: random testing might not be a bad idea for those coaching travel basketball. While we are at it let’s throw officials in there as well.
We already know it’s loud in the stands, let’s clean it up on the other side.
