In Monte Carlo, the U.S. men’s Olympic basketball Dream Team, which included 11 Hall of Famers and Christian Laettner, participated in a scrimmage that has become a legendary tale of basketball greatness.

This wasn’t just a practice game — it was a high-stakes showdown between the greatest players on the planet (and Christian Laettner), all vying to prove their dominance before heading to the Barcelona Olympics. Michael Jordan later called it “the greatest game I’ve ever played in.”  Talk about setting the bar high!
