⛳️ From losing his PGA Tour card and falling outside the top 500 in the world rankings in 2021, to finishing 23rd at the Masters in 2022 and 50th earlier this year, JJ Spaun’s journey has been anything but ordinary. Now, he’s a major champion — pulling off a stunning victory at the 2025 U.S. Open in dramatic fashion on one of the toughest courses in the world.

🏌️ JJ Spaun clinched his first major at the 125th U.S. Open at Oakmont with a dramatic finish. After an early collapse, Spaun rebounded with clutch birdies on Nos. 12 and 14, setting the stage for the moment of the tournament.

On the 18th green — from the middle of the fairway, some 202 yards out — Spaun found the green and faced a daunting 65‑foot birdie putt to seal the championship. With nerves of steel, he sank it—his ball slid past for eagle, then dropped the return for birdie—sealing the win in unforgettable fashion .

⛈️ The day featured weather delays and shifting conditions, but Spaun’s resilience stood out. He edged past contenders like Viktor Hovland and Tyrrell Hatton (who faltered down the stretch), finishing one shot clear
