OKLAHOMA CITY — In a playoffs filled with breakout performances, buzzer beaters, and the emergence of new stars, Tyrese Haliburton just claimed the top headline.

With 0.3 seconds remaining in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, the Indiana Pacers’ floor general did what legends do — he delivered. Haliburton drilled a step-back 26-foot dagger over Lu Dort to lift the Pacers to a stunning 108–106 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, silencing a raucous Paycom Center crowd and stealing home court in the process.

It wasn’t just a big shot. It was the shot.

A shot that screamed, “I’m not here to be cute. I’m here to be great.”

“This is what you live for,” Haliburton said postgame. “We’re not here to just compete. We’re here to win.”
